If you're a good enough and exciting enough of a fighter, fans will learn how to spell your name, Khabib Nurmagomedov is a testament to that. The latest match up set for Fight Club Rush 19 is now here, pitting Sevan "The Pirate King" Madenjian (2-0) against Mashrab Mamadaliyev (0-1) in a great bout between top talents looking to break into the mainstream.
FCR 19 goes down at Quality Hotel Solna in Stockholm, Sweden, February 24th.
Madenjian is a former representative of the Belgian National Team in amateur MMA and also won the Belgian championships in Sanda in 2018.
Since relocating to Allstars in Stockholm Madenjian has gotten close with FCR alumns Tobias Wallberg and David Jacobsson while training with many of the best in Europe.
Following a vicious first round knockout over Tobias Seger in October of 2022, Madenjian made his much-anticipated pro debut against Danish brute Rasmus Elehrs last summer. Madenjian wasted no time securing the victory, scoring a first round submission win.
Madenjian most recently competed last month, scoring another first round submission win.
Mamdaliyev trains alongside the likes of Raymond Johansson and Ebrima Faal at C Team (formerly MACC). He has fought great competition as am amateur along the likes of Ola Jacobsson and Abdallah Habib, as well as victories over Firass Kaaki and Linus Lindeberg.
Last spring Mamadaliyev made his pro debut against rising star John Oldenqvist, losing via knockout at the end of the first round.
These fighters are both looking for their breakout moment, seeking for it to go down at FCR 19.
