FCR 25 gets new date & location: "Most exclusive show so far"

Fight Club Rush 25 was slated to take place in Luleå on September 6th, but the event will now get a new city and date. Instead FCR 25 will go down at Västerås Congress Center, in the heart of the city, the following week on September 13th.

The reason for this is that the UFC recently announced plans to hold an event in the French capital of Paris on September 6th. In agreement with contractual regulations no other European events broadcast on UFC Fight Pass in Europe may conflict with a live UFC event.

This will cause FCR 25 to now move to a completely new venue with a range of new opportunities. Västerås Congress Center, while having slightly less available seats, offers a much more intimate and intense viewing experience that promises too be the most exclusive FCR event to date.

FCR promotor Zlatko Ostrogonac is enticed and intrigued regarding the new venue.

"When a door is closed a window usually opens and this window had lead to a new venue that will give a new, exciting viewing experience for the public," Ostrogonac said. "Fans can be served drinks in their seats and the official after party takes place in the very same building, making this the most exclusive show so far for us. Get ready for a completely new experience unlike any other FCR event you've seen so far."

The planned show at Luleå Energi Arena, in association with Battle of Botnia, will instead take place on November 29th and promises a thrilling mix of talent from around Northern Europe.

2025 is proving to be a year of new opportunities and sets an interesting precedent for what is to come next year.
