Ferocious finishers Moe Ahmadi and Abdallah habib to throw down at FCR 13

Over the years Fight Club Rush has become the fastest growing MMA-promotion in Scandinavia due to the fan friendly, high paced entertainment that is produced time and time again inside the FCR cage. The latest booking is sure to add to the already long list of highlight reels for the promotion.

Well-known welterweights Moe "Slim Boy" Ahmadi (2-4) and Abdallah Habib (0-1) are now set to duke it out at FCR 13 at Solnahallen in Stockholm, August 27th.

Ahmadi has never gone the distance as a pro and is known for his lightning quick submissions. lost his first two bouts against top-notch competitors Oskar Biller and Adam Westlund.

Never one to be held back by adversity, Ahmadi would in his following bout go on to headline FCR 7 - the first Swedish MMA show to be held since the start of the pandemic. "Slim Boy" faced highly experienced and hard-nosed Elvin Hoxha and would steal the show by securing a second round submission via an unusual, modified omoplata.

After that Ahmadi set his sights on Gothenburg to welcome amateur stand out Navid Badi to the pro leagues. The fight was almost over before it started as Ahmadi secured a rapid guillotine victory early in the first round.

Since then, however, Ahmadi has dropped his following two bouts, getting finished by rising welterweight stars Christopher Bajo and Alexander Lindgren.

Habib has a storied background in Muay Thai, winning medals in both the Swedish Championships and World Championships. As an amateur Habib secured impressive victories such as a brilliant decision win over Mamadaliev Mashrab. However it was a brutal, first round head kick knockout over current pro powerhouse Rahmads Stromanis.

In October of last year Habib made his pro debut against the above mentioned talent Christopher Bajo, losing via first round submission.

There are several scenarios that could end up materializing when these two welterweights meet, but one thing is for all but certain: the judges wont be needed in this contest.
