TV star Erik Wahrolen to make pro debut against super underrated Ibrahim Halil Milli at FCR 17

As has been stated ad nauseam: expect to see the hottest prospects in Northern Europe stake their claim at Fight Club Rush. Following a stellar beginning to 2023, Erik Wahrolén is now set to face Ibrahim Halil Milli in what will be both fighters pro debuts.

The lightweight bout is scheduled for FCR 17 which takes place in Uppsala, Sweden on September ninth.

Wahrolén broke through to reach mainstream appeal as a contestant on the Swedish reality show Expedition Robinson (The Swedish version of Survivor). He has, however, been a skilled grappler to watch for those with their finger on the pulse of Swedish MMA.

Scoring an emphatic submission win over Ehsan Sheikh in August 2020 before eventually going on Expedition Robinson. The BJJ brown belt returned with a slick, first round submission win over August Jacobsson in March of this year.

Following that Wahrolén made his FCR debut against hardened veteran Enrique Parraguez at FCR 16. Wahrolén controlled the fight completely, securing a clear-cut unanimous decision win after three rounds.

Milli has also been a fighter to watch for those in the know. He has fought many of the best amateurs in Sweden such as Ratko Tomic and Firass Kaaki. He also holds impressive victories over the likes of Pasha Tarzi.

Can Wahroléns success continue in the pro leagues or will the seasoned Milli be too much? That will be answered inside the FCR cage.
