Over the past few years Fight Club Rush has become well-established in the city of Västerås, locking down the local MMA market. Now the time has come to expand, with FCR 13 going down at Solnahallen, in the Swedish capital city of Stockholm, on August 27th.
Originally FCR had planned to host previous events outside of Västerås, perhaps most notably FCR 11. However pandemic restrictions and similar hurdles made holding events in a more known location substantially easier.
As of now no fights have been announced for FCR 13 but a showcase of the hottest prospects and rising stars is expected.
Thus far FCR is where UFC superstar Khamzat Chimaev had some of this frist MMA bouts. Tobias Harila, who is currently taking Cage Warriors by storm, was the face of FCR for a portion of his career. Also, Josefine "Thunder" Knutsson, how had her first three pro bouts in FCR, recently scored a dominant win in The Road to the UFC.
Stay tuned in the coming days and weeks as FCR will begin announcing the fights for the promotions thirteenth event. Expect some of the best Nordic prospects on the scene and high octane, evenly matched, and exciting match ups - as usual!
