Fight Club Rush prides itself in having recurring names that the promotion can build up and add star value to. Wasi "The Nigerian Jaguar" Adeshina (5-3) has built up his name in FCR and now looks to stop the onslaught of undefeated Finn Waltteri "Da Vinci" Häkkinen (3-0) at FCR 18 on November 25th!
Adeshina trains out of MACC in Stockholm - a team that has seen much success over the past year. Making his pro debut in August of 2020 Adeshina lost his two first fights, one via a controversial disqualification.
"The Nigerian Jaguar" then made his promotional debut at FCR 11, defeating well-credentialled Pole Eryk Walecki via decision in a barn burner of a fight. He went on to line up three additional wins, including a TKO win over Sakhi "Machete" Qambari.
In April of this year the Swedish-Nigerian made his Cage Warriors debut against Irishman Decky McAleenan, losing via first round submission. Since then Adeshina has bounced back to the win column, handing Norwegian top prospect Jon Vetle Furuheim his very first loss after three solid rounds from "The Nigerian Jaguar".
Häkkinen is a well-credentialled grappler and amateur fighter who submitted countryman Hama Dara in the very first round in his pro debut in March of this year. He then made his FCR debut, defeating Djaba Murtazaliev via third round TKO. He followed up by giving top Swedish prospect Martin Corney a rude awakening to the pro leagues, scoring a first round submission win at FCF 17.
Can Häkkinen extend his undefeated winning streak or will "The Nigerian Jaguar" prove to be too much for yet another rising star? That will be answered at FCF 18, November 25th.
