We have now entered 2023 and the new year is sure to bring great things as Fight Club Rush returns to the Swedish capital of Stockholm with FCR 15!
It was recently announced that TV personality and Allstars prospect Liam Pitts will be making his return to the cage at FCR 15. The co-main event is now official as well: a
featherweight barn-burner between hardened veteran Fernando "El Toro" Flores (10-10) and undefeated prospect Alexander Lööf (4-0)!
Flores is one of Northern Europe's most respected veterans. He has competed as a pro since 2014 and has fought the likes of Tobias Harila, Felipe Lima and Jonas Mågård. He also holds wins over the likes of Robert Nyström, Pietro Menga and Michel Diega-Sheck.
With an all-action style and constant pressure, Flores has become a fan favourite regardless of the outcome. This was evident in his latest bout against Finnish star Markus Rytöhonka. The two battled it out in three close rounds, and though "El Toro" came up short on the judges score cards, he still received a standing ovation from both the crowd and promotion.
Lööf is a product of the now famed Västerås Fight Club and he truly embodies the fighting spirit that has made his gym famous.
Lööf made his pro debut against European MMA champion Amir Malekpour at FCR 9, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat with a late knockout. He has since followed up with three straight wins, with one additional finish.
His latest win was a close decision win over red hot Samuel Bark in the main event of FCR 12, where the two battled it out over the coarse of three rounds.
The much anticipated co-main event is just the first of several must-see bouts that are slated to make FCR 15 an unforgettable event.
