Västerås veteran Johan Andersson to return against Ibrahim Halil-Milli!

The fight card for Fight Club Rush 20 continues to grow and now another fight has been added to the blockbuster event: a lightweight match up between Johan Andersson (1-1) and Ibrahim Halil-Milli (0-1)!

FCR 20 goes down at ABB Arena in Västerås on June first and will surely be the biggest event ever put on by FCR.

Andersson trains out of Västerås Fight Club and was the gyms first ever representative in the Swedish National MMA Team. Many of the younger fighters at the time, such as Tobias Harila and Alexander Lööf, looked up to Andersson who's violent style caused a stir in the amateur leagues.

With amateur wins over the likes of Linus Ahlbäck and Aram Warsan Andersson eventually made the move to pro in October 2017, losing via submission to National Team representative Joel Moya Schöndorff. After that Anderson set off to Wales to face former Bare Knuckle Champ James "Lights Out" Lilly, submitting the brit in less than a minute with his patented guillotine.

Andersson is described by head coach Jörgen Hamberg as "Västerås Fight Club's real OG" and certainly lives up to that moniker.

Uppsalas Halil-Milli is a humble grinder who has scored impressive amateur wins over Martin Larsson and Pasha Tarzi.

After competing in the Swedish National MMA championships 2021 Halil-Milli did some competing in grappling and Muay Thai before making his pro MMA debut at FCR 17 in Uppsala in September of last year. Facing rising star Erik Wahrolén, Halil-Milli was perhaps caught off guard by his opponents striking, getting clipped and finished in the first round.

Both Andersson and Halil-Milli enter FCR 20 with something to prove. For Andersson it entails a huge comeback in his home town while Halil-Milli wants to erase the memory of his previous loss with a big win.

Only one fighter can get what he wants in Västerås, tune in on June first to see who.
