Swedish amateur lightweight sensation Martin Corney is set for his third walk to the Fight Club Rush cage on November 26th. Now underrated prospect Anton Ringvall is set on stealing Corneys thunder.
Training under Swedish MMA pioneer Omar Bouiche at Pancrase Gym in Stockholm, Corney has established himself as one of the best amateur prospects in the Country. So far Corney has, among other accomplishments, tapped out both Dimitris Dimitriadis and three time Swedish boxing champ Anton Hellström.
In his most recent outing at FCR 13 Corney took on muay thai striker Jafar Yousifi. Corney shut his opponent out, earning a clear-cut unanimous decision win.
Ringvall is also a young talent on the rise, who broke out earlier this year. Making his A-class amateur debut in May he won a decision over Redline Training Centers Wahid Jarrah. He most recently secured a win over Allstars' Saba Gabitsinashvili via submission.
Swedish amateur MMA has consistently held one of the highest levels of quality in the world, evidenced by the latest FCR booking.
