The fight card for Fight Club Rush is beginning to get finalised and just received an exciting addition: Nabbe Malki (1-1) vs Mika Kallio (1-0)!
FCR 17 will go down at Fyrishov Arena in Uppsala on September ninth and will be headlined by a vacant flyweight title bout between Jonny Touma and Renato Vidovic.
Malki is tightly connected to the popular Swedish football Hammarby and has become the biggest ticket seller of any fighter in FCR history. After a successful amateur career that includes wins over the likes of FCR alumns Michael Kouamé and Christian Stigenberg.
At FCR 13 the fans would finally see Malki make his pro debut - against arch rival Taylan Isik. Malki showed brilliance on the feet and would win the fight via first round knockout.
Malki most recently competed at FCR 16 against Ebrima Faal, losing via first round knockout.
Finland's Kallio has enjoyed a strong amateur career where he represented the Finnish National Team in amateur MMA. He capped off his amateur career with a vicious knockout win at CAGE MMA - Finland's premiere MMA promotion.
Kallio made his pro debut at CAGE MMA 51, winning a split decision over experienced and hardened Norwegian Quinten DeVreught.
Malki has sky-high ambitions and is now looking to return to the win column against the tough as nails Kallio.
