This summer Fight Club Rush 20 was held - a landmark event in the promotions history which featured big fights from red-hot fighters. One of those who impressed many fans was Millie Eriksson (1-0), who had a fantastic pro debut, now she is ready for her sophomore pro effort as she will face undefeated Borena Tsertsvadze (4-0)!
This high-stakes bout goes down at FCR 21 at the Quality Hotel Strawberry Arena on Saturday September seventh.
Eriksson had mixed results initially as an amateur, but broke through to the mainstream during the 2021 IMMAF World Cup, where she captured gold for Team Sweden. Following that Eriksson continued to win medals and line up impressive wins, such as a fantastic victory over Nikolija Milosevic.
This summer Eriksson made her above-mentioned pro debut and did so against none other than Finnish veteran Maiju Suotama - a veteran of 15 pro bouts which included fights against the likes of Miesha Tate and Lucie Pudilova. While the bout was a tough task on paper, inside the cage it was a one-sided affair, with Eriksson bludgeoning her opponent on the feet, winning a bloody unanimous decision.
Tsertsvadze is not only an undefeated pro fighter, but also the pound-for-pound number two ranked female fighter in the Caucasus region. In her pro debut in the summer of 2021 Tsertsvadze defeated none other than Miriam Torchinava - who has since gone on to challenge for titles and compete in major promotions.
Only Tsertsvadze's latest opponent has made it to the judges, though if Erikssons fighting style is any indication of what will happen, scores wont be collected in this bout.
