As if Fight Club Rush 14 didn't have enough epic match ups announced the latest could very well steal the show of an already stacked fight card.
Fearless featherweights Eryk Walecki (0-1) and Sakhi "Machete" Qambari (0-1) have now been booked for a fight that has "Fight of the Night" written all over it!
Walecki has a storied amateur career and even represented the Polish national team at the IMMAF championships - and even did so alone! Västerås Fight Club head coach and Swedish national team coach Jörgen Hamberg offered to coach a solo Walecki, who took on a task many wouldn't have.
At FCR 11 Walecki made his pro debut against slugger Wasi Adesina. The fight was a back-and-forth, bloody battle that saw both fighters dish out heavy damage. In the end Walecki lost the fight via decision, but won the respect of the Swedish MMA fans.
To say that Qambari has had a tough life would be an understatement. He hails from Afghanistan and fled to Sweden where he had a hard time fitting in.
"Machete" turned away from street violence in favour of MMA, and took a short notice fight against Allstars prospect Djaba Murtazaliev in an amateur contest. Wambari lost, but showed potential, and ended up moving to Stockholm to train at Allstars Training Center.
Qambari also made his pro debut against Adesina, at FCR 13 in Stockholm. In the first round it seemed as if Qambari would finish the fight, but ended up succumbing to a second round TKO loss.
Despite the fantastic main card that FCR 14 has, this under card bout simply cannot be missed.
