Finnish veteran Tuomas Grönvall to face rising Allstars prospect Mark Vologdin!

The fight card for Fight Club Rush 18 is slowly starting to get finalised but there are still huge match ups being announced. The latest bout to become official is a bantamweight battle between Finnish veteran Tuomas "The Tank Engine" Grönvall (11-5-1) and Allstars based Russian Mark Vologdin (9-3-1)!

FCR 18 goes down at Västerås Arena on November 25th and will, per usual, be broadcast on UFC Fight Pass - the worlds leading platform for combat sports.

Grönvall is a grizzled veteran of the Finnish MMA scene who has competed professionally for over a decade and has never been finished. "The Tank Engine" is a skilled wrestler and grappler who has secured almost half of his wins via submission.

Throughout the years Grönvall has defeated the likes of current FCR titel challenger Renato Vidovic, veteran Artemij Sitenkov (who holds a win over Conor McGregor) and high-level Italian fighter Luca Iovine.

In December of last year Grönvall faced his toughest test to date: former UFC title challenger Wilson Reis. The Finn would be defeated after three rounds, but has since bounced back with a solide submission win earlier this year.

Vologdin has a Russian background but was interestingly enough based in Finland for several years. Despite a tough start to his pro career where he went 0-1-1 Vologdin went on to enter an impressive five fight winning streak - all via finish before the final round.

Vologdin then lost two fights via submission but has since re-entered the in column, winning four straight fights and recently joined the famed Allstars Training Center.

Showcasing the best talent in Northern Europe is what FCR aims to do and this latest addition to the already stacked FCR 18 fight card illustrates that desire.
