Scandinavias premiere MMA promotion returns this weekend as Fight Club Rush 12 goes down in Västerås, Sweden this Saturday, May seventh.
Two of Sweden's best featherweight strikers will meet in the main event as homegrown talent Alexander Lööf faces the experienced Muay Thai expert Samuel Bark. Both fighters are undefeated with identical 3-0 records comprising two T/KO wins as well as one victory via decision.
The Swedish MMA community has been on fire since the fight was announced as fans eagerly await this collision between two seasoned strikers.
Hometown hero Zoran Milic will return in the co-main event after giving the fans three straight thrill fests in his pro bouts in FCR so far. Stepping up to face the fast-paced flyweight is Irishman Gerard Burns, a top-notch prospect who recently made a successful pro debut and who is willing to meet Milic in the striking exchanges that surely await the fans.
The rest of the card is filled to the brim with some of the best MMA action in Europe. Spanish phenom Enrique Hecher Sosa made a fantastic FCR debut last year, knocking out Swedish amateur champion Jonny Touma early in the first round. He will face underrated Ukrainian striker Karlen Minasian - who currently resides at Örebro Fight Gym.
Aside from that heavyweight star Nermin Hajdarpasic will face rival Fatih Aktas in a exciting rematch of their first bout which ended in split decision. Also top-tier welterweight prospects Christian Stigenberg and Theodor Berggren, and Safi Husseini returns from his record-setting KO to face European amateur MMA champ Amir Malekpour.
The preliminary portion of the card will be broadcast here on fcrmma.com for free, live at 16:30 local time. The main card will, as usual, be broadcast on world-leading streaming platform UFC Fight Pass, beginning at 18:00 local time.
