FCR 14 to see furious finishers collide as fan favourite Moe Ahmadi meets Rick Gangia!



On November 26th Fight Club Rush returns to Västerås with the promotions 14th event and a real banger of a match up was just announced.



Fan favourite Moe "Slim Boy" Ahmadi (3-4) will return to the FCR cage for the fifth time to take on returning Danish talent Rick Gangia (3-2) in a catchweight bout at 73 kilograms!


After getting a rough start to the pro leagues with two straight losses via finish Ahmadi would during the sumer of 2020 headline FCR 7 - the first Swedish MMA event to be held since the start of the pandemic. Ahmadi truly broke out, finishing amateur standout Elvin Hoxha via submission in the second round.



Ahmadi went on to snatch up another quick submission finish after tapping out Gothenburgs Navid Badi, before returning to FCR. Back inside the FCR cage "Slim Boy" faced tough opposition, losing to both Christopher Bajo and Alexander Lindgren via TKO.


At FCR 13 Ahmadi bounced back to the win column with a sensation first round submission victory over Allstars Training Centers Abdallah Habib.


Gangia trains under UFC veteran Martin Kampmann and made his pro debut against FCR staple fighter Lindgren in september of last year. The Dane would lose the fight via second round submission despite a valiant effort.



Following that Gangia has returned to the Danish MMA scene, where he has racked up a 3-1 record on home soil, with the lone loss coming to undefeated Dutch prospect Gino Van Steenis.


Ahmadi is a true showman both inside and outside the cage. His creative walk ins are becoming highly anticipated and are some of the best in all of Sweden. Gangia is proving to be a real prospect in his own right, with ferocious ground and pound and intense pressure.


Between both fighters only one of their combined twelve fights has gone to the judges scorecards. If their fighting styles and previous bouts are any indication of how this fight goes, the judges wont be needed and the fans are in for a treat.
