Brayan Aspegren out, Abubakr Abdulhalakov to step in against Enes Kollari at FCR 19

Winter illness is unfortunately quite common and Finnish prospect Brayan Aspegren has unfortunately been too ill to properly prepare for Fight Club Rush 19. Thus he has been forced out of his bout with Enes "The Doctor" Kollari (0-1), but Abubakr Abdulhalakov (0-1) is now set to serve as a replacement in his MMA return.

FCR 19 will take place at Quality Hotel Friends in Solna, Sweden on February 24th.

While he is an all-round fighter, Kollari has an affinity for striking and will not back down in heavy exchanges. Gothenburgs Kollari holds amateur wins that have aged gracefully like fine wine, having defeated IMMAF World Light Heavyweight silver medalist Robin Enontekiö and current IMMAF World Middleweight champion Rafael Kveldstad.

In September of last year Kollari made his pro debut against Danijel Grbic - a two-time Swedish MMA champ. The fight was an exciting, fast-paces brawl that thrilled the audience. Kollari ended up losing a decision, but the bout was seem by many as one of the best Swedish MMA fights of 2023.

Abdulhalakov has an extensive amateur MMA resumé that stands at 16-0 and unlike many of his Chechen compatriots, he comes from a striking background. He made his pro debut in Germany, while based there, losing a three round decision to Ismail Kumas.

Since then Abdulhalakov has relocated to Finland where he is now based.

Both Kollari and Abdulhalakov enjoy keeping the fight on the feet and delivering fan-friendly performances, something the crowd in Stockholm surely will appreciate.
