As Fight Club Rush expands to become the top MMA promotion in Northern Europe, fighters will undoubtedly set to settle their grievances there.
An exciting featherweight meeting between Ali "The Alligator" Al-Jasim and Raham Kafaei has now been added to the already stacked FCR 16 card in Västerås on June third! The two most recently competed in the finals at the Swedish National Championships. Al-Jasim would win a closely contested and disputed split decision over Kafaei after three full rounds.
Al-Jasim trains out of Redline Training Center in Malmö and has a unique fighting style, owing to his Tae Kwon Do background. He holds several first round finishes over former opponents such as Sebstian Vocanac, Ramin Akhmedov and Kevin Bohlin.
"The Alligator" makes his return to FCR after having faced Abbe Hussein at FCR 11. Al-Jasim got off to a great start but stayed in the pocket for too long and got clipped with a thunderous punch that knocked him out.
On top of that, Al-Jasim has also represented the Swedish National MMA Team in the 2022 IMMAF World Championships, winning his first bout yet losing his second.
Kafaei is a product of Söders Fight Gym alongside Christian Stigenberg and Anton Hellström, among others. Kafaei also represented Team Sweden in last years World Championships, losing a decision in the opening round.
Kafaei holds wins over the likes of Osman Vacoev and Daiki Moriwaki. Now he hopes to prove what he feels he already knows: that he has what it takes to defeat "The Alligator".
