Fight Club Rush 20 will be the biggest event the promotion has put on so far and it just received a tittillating addition: a bout between Alexander Lööf (5-1) and Andrey Tyshchenko (6-2)!
The fight will be contested at a -62 kilogram catchweight at FCR 20 in Västerås, June first.
As an amateur Lööf successfully represented the Swedish National MMA team, earning a reputation for his "Right Hand from Hell". Debuting as a pro at FCR 9 against Amir Malekpour, Lööf was en route to losing a decision before uncorking a haymaker that knocked his opponent out.
Following that Lööf lined up four additional wins, including decisions over Fernando Flores and Samuel Bark, leading to a fight in Cage Warriors.
Taking on undefeated phenom Luke Riley Lööf put on a fight for the ages. The two battled back and forth in what would go on to be the Cage Warriors fight of the year. Though Lööf succumbed to a third round TKO loss, he earned the respect of MMA fans around the world.
Tyshchenko has been competing as a professional since 2019, making a name for himself on the local Ukrainian MMA scene, scoring finishes in every single one of his victories.
That success earned Tyshchenko a shot in Cage Warriors where he is currently undefeated, with a decision win over Yoga Prabowo and a No Contest against Italian veteran Luca Iovine.
Both fighters are ona collision coarse, looking to secure a big win at one of the biggest Nordic MMA events of the year, but only one can leave the cage with a victory.
